The Game has turned himself in for allegedly punching and threatening an off-duty LAPD officer in March. The rapper surrendered to police on June 8 and was arrested for suspicion of felony criminal threats, more than two months after the incident occurred.
Uh-oh, looks like there’s some trouble for The Game! The 35-year-old was arrested on June 8 for the scuffle he got into with an off-duty cop during a pickup basketball game on March 29. Get the details here.
The whole thing went down more than two months ago, when the rapper got into it with a rookie cop who was off-duty. TMZ obtained video of The Game throwing a punch at the officer, and on June 5, a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
But the punch alone isn’t what The Game was booked for. Rather, he was charged with one felony count of making criminal threats, allegedly telling the officer, “I’m going to kill you.” However, Game has previously denied making the threats, and claimed the cop actually threatened him by hinting he had a gun in his gym bag…and was going to use it.
After being booked, The Game was held for about an hour before he posted a $50,000 bail and was released.
